What Is Saudi National Day?

Saudi National Day marks the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the Founding King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.

In 1932, a Royal Order announced the unification of the country and its naming as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, taking effect on 23 September 1932. Today, Saudi National Day is celebrated annually on 23 September and is an official public holiday across the Kingdom.

The occasion brings people and organizations across Saudi Arabia together through national celebrations and traditions that reflect the Kingdom’s history, heritage and national identity.

Celebrating Together at Duncan & Ross

For Duncan & Ross, Saudi National Day is also an opportunity to celebrate together.

Our team in Saudi Arabia came together to mark the occasion, sharing a moment that reflects the connection between our people and the communities in which we work.

As an international team working across different disciplines and backgrounds, occasions like Saudi National Day give us an opportunity to recognize the culture and identity of the Kingdom while celebrating alongside our colleagues.

Saudi Arabia: Looking Toward the Future

Alongside celebrating its history and national identity, Saudi Arabia continues to advance its long-term transformation under Saudi Vision 2030.

Across the Kingdom, continued development in technology, digital infrastructure, engineering and innovation is contributing to an evolving environment for businesses, industries and major projects.

These developments are also changing how projects are planned, designed and delivered, creating greater opportunities for collaboration across Engineering, Digital Engineering, BIM and Technology.

At Duncan & Ross, these disciplines form part of a connected approach to supporting complex projects and the people behind them.
