SENIOR PIPING ENGINEER - STRESS

<p>As a Senior Piping Engineer – Stress, you will be responsible for leading piping stress and flexibility analysis activities for offshore and onshore EPC projects. This role involves ensuring piping systems meet code requirements for stress, support, and fatigue, while providing technical leadership and guidance to the stress engineering team.</p>
<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and manage piping stress engineering deliverables including analysis reports, calculations, and specifications </li>
<li>Perform and review piping flexibility and stress analysis using CAESAR II or AUTOPIPE </li>
<li>Develop and maintain the critical line list and piping stress specifications </li>
<li>Evaluate piping systems for thermal expansion, sustained loads, occasional loads, and fatigue conditions </li>
<li>Issue pipe support loads to structural and civil teams for foundation and pipe rack design </li>
<li>Prepare technical requisitions for special pipe support components and stress-related items </li>
<li>Review piping isometric drawings of critical lines for constructability and code compliance </li>
<li>Conduct technical bid evaluations (TBEs) for pipe support, spring hangers, and expansion joint vendors </li>
<li>Coordinate with piping layout, structural, and process disciplines on stress-related interfaces </li>
<li>Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and review support to junior stress engineers </li>
<li>Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and quality standards </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (master's preferred) </li>
<li>13+ years of experience in piping stress analysis within oil &amp; gas EPC projects </li>
<li>Expert proficiency in CAESAR II or AUTOPIPE </li>
<li>Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards: ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and NORSOK </li>
<li>Experience with high-temperature, high-pressure, and dynamic load cases (seismic, slug flow, vibration) </li>
<li>Proven experience in offshore and onshore project environments </li>
<li>Strong understanding of pipe support design and stress mitigation techniques </li>
<li>Excellent leadership, mentoring, and cross-discipline coordination skills</li>
