<p>We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer specializing in static equipment to oversee all static equipment engineering activities on a large gas processing facility project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of all static equipment design, procurement, and engineering reviews.</p><p><strong style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul>
<ul><li> Lead the engineering and review of static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, and fired heaters</li><li> Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, and requisitions</li><li> Perform and review pressure vessel and heat exchanger design calculations in accordance with ASME, PD 5500, or equivalent</li><li> Evaluate vendor technical proposals and conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE)</li><li> Review vendor drawings, design reports, and material documentation</li><li> Coordinate with process, piping, and structural disciplines on equipment interfaces</li><li> Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications</li><li> Provide technical support during fabrication, inspection, and commissioning stages</li></ul></ul><p><strong style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;">KEY QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul>
<ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering</li><li> Minimum 15 years of experience in static equipment engineering for oil &amp; gas or petrochemical projects; specialist-level candidates also considered</li><li> Extensive experience in pressure vessel and heat exchanger design to ASME, TEMA, and API standards</li><li> Familiarity with ADNOC gas processing projects is highly advantageous</li><li> Knowledge of material selection for sour service, high-temperature, and high-pressure applications</li><li> Prior involvement in mega gas processing facility projects is a strong advantage</li><li> Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred</li><li> Excellent analytical and vendor management skills</li></ul></ul><p>VERTICAL</p><p>ENGINEERING</p>
