<p>Civil 3D BIM Modeler (Wet Utilities) is responsible for developing accurate and coordinated 3D BIM models for external wet utility networks, including potable water, stormwater, sewerage, and irrigation systems. The role requires strong technical and software expertise to ensure models and drawings comply with project requirements, BIM standards, and authority regulations.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Develop and maintain <strong>3D models for wet utility networks</strong> using <strong>Autodesk Civil 3D</strong>, <strong>Revit</strong>, or other BIM software as required.</li><li>Prepare <strong>detailed design drawings, profiles, cross-sections, and layouts</strong> for water, sewer, stormwater, and irrigation systems.</li><li>Ensure model accuracy, proper alignment, and adherence to the <strong>BIM Execution Plan (BEP)</strong> and project standards.</li><li>Perform <strong>clash detection and coordination</strong> with other disciplines (roads, structural, electrical, landscape, etc.) using <strong>Navisworks Manage</strong>.</li><li>Produce <strong>construction drawings</strong>, <strong>as-built drawings</strong>, and <strong>quantity take-offs (QTOs)</strong> from BIM models.</li><li>Maintain and manage BIM models in accordance with the required <strong>Level of Detail (LOD)</strong> and <strong>file naming conventions</strong>.</li><li>Collaborate closely with engineers, CAD technicians, and other BIM modelers to ensure design consistency and coordination.</li><li>Support <strong>BIM Coordinators</strong> in implementing company-wide standards and workflows.</li><li>Incorporate updates, design revisions, and field markups accurately into BIM models.</li><li>Ensure all deliverables meet <strong>local authority requirements</strong> (e.g., Ashghal, DMT, ADM, Dubai Municipality, etc.).</li></ul>
<p><strong>Key Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul><li><strong>Bachelor's degree in civil engineering</strong> or a related field.</li><li>Minimum <strong>4 to 6 years of experience</strong> in infrastructure and utilities projects.</li><li>Proven experience in <strong>Autodesk Civil 3D</strong> (mandatory)<br></li><li>Proficiency in <strong>Navisworks Manage</strong> and <strong>AutoCAD</strong>; experience with <strong>Revit</strong> or <strong>InfraWorks</strong> is an advantage.</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong style="font-size: 1em;">wet utilities design</strong><span style="font-size: 1em;">, including:&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 1em;">Potable water network,&nbsp;</span>Sewerage systems,&nbsp;Stormwater drainage, Irrigation networks</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>survey data integration</strong>, <strong>surface modeling</strong>, and <strong>corridor modeling</strong> in Civil 3D.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>BIM standards</strong> (ISO 19650, LOD, BEP).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative, <p></p>multidisciplinary environment.</li><li>Prior experience with <strong>infrastructure projects</strong> such as roads, industrial areas, or mixed-use developments.</li></ul>
