<p>We are seeking an experienced Lead Field Process Engineer to join our onshore oil and gas project team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong background in field engineering, designconstruction coordination, and ADNOC project experience.</p>
<p>This role requires a technically strong professional who can act as the interface between the design and construction teams, ensuring engineering intent is maintained throughout project execution while resolving site-related process issues efficiently.</p>
<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead and oversee all field process engineering activities at site to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and procedures.</li>
<li>Serve as the technical focal point between the engineering design office and site construction teams.</li>
<li>Review and interpret PFDs, P&amp;IDs, datasheets, and process design documents to support construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.</li>
<li>Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for process-related issues arising during construction and start-up phases.</li>
<li>Coordinate and resolve design queries, technical deviations, and field change requests in alignment with project requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure the proper implementation of ADNOC standards, specifications, and project HSE requirements in all field engineering activities.</li>
<li>Liaise closely with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and operations) to ensure smooth project progress.</li>
<li>Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including punch list review and system handover.</li>
<li>Support the construction and QA/QC teams in reviewing and validating as-built documentation and red-line mark-ups.</li>
<li>Prepare and submit field engineering reports, progress updates, and technical assessments as required by the project management team.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering from a recognized university.</li>
<li>Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 8 years in field engineering roles for onshore projects.</li>
<li>Proven experience in ADNOC projects is mandatory.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of process design deliverables and their practical application during construction.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective field engineering decisions.</li>
<li>Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) and ADNOC engineering practices.</li>
<li>Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.</li>
