<p>The Pipeline Stress Engineer will be responsible for performing and reviewing pipeline flexibility, stress, and support analysis for onshore oil &amp; gas projects during the Engineering Phase (FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design). The role requires deep technical expertise in pipeline stress analysis, familiarity with ADNOC standards, and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.</p>
<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform pipeline stress and flexibility analysis for onshore oil &amp; gas pipelines and flowlines (buried and above ground) using CAESAR II or equivalent software.</li>
<li>Develop and review pipeline stress analysis reports, load case summaries, and stress isometrics.</li>
<li>Identify and define support locations, expansion loops, restraints, and anchors to ensure safe and reliable operation of the pipeline system.</li>
<li>Ensure designs comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international design codes (ASME B31.4, B31.8, API, ISO, DNV, etc.).</li>
<li>Provide stress analysis input to pipeline layout, routing, and material selection.</li>
<li>Interface with the piping, civil, process, mechanical, and structural teams to ensure proper integration of design requirements.</li>
<li>Review and approve vendor documents related to stress-critical items, supports, and expansion joints.</li>
<li>Participate in design review meetings, model reviews, and inter-discipline coordination sessions.</li>
<li>Support preparation of pipeline design deliverables including alignment sheets, stress drawings, and pipeline engineering reports.</li>
<li>Ensure all deliverables meet project quality and schedule requirements.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Pipeline Engineering from an accredited university.</li>
<li>5-10 years of relevant experience in pipeline stress and flexibility analysis within the oil &amp; gas sector.</li>
<li>Mandatory ADNOC project experience (minimum one completed FEED or Detailed Design project for ADNOC Onshore or ADNOC Gas).</li>
<li>Proven track record in Engineering Phase work FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design (not construction).</li>
<li>Proficiency in CAESAR II and related software tools for pipeline stress analysis.</li>
<li>Sound knowledge of ASME, API, DNV, and ADNOC Engineering Standards (ADES/AGES).</li>
<li>Familiarity with pipeline materials, routing, and support design in onshore environments.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Immediate availability to mobilize to Abu Dhabi.</li><li>Experience in buried pipeline stress analysis, including soilpipe interaction and expansion loop design.</li>
<li>Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) tools for local stress checks.</li>
<li>Exposure to 3D model review platforms (SmartPlant Review, Navisworks, etc.).</li>
<li>Experience with pipeline crossings, tie-ins, and brownfield modifications.</li>
<li>Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and review third-party deliverables.</li>
