<p>We are looking for an experienced Pipeline Designer to support the detailed engineering phase of a major onshore oil and gas project. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in pipeline design, drafting, and modeling, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project requirements.</p>
<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Prepare detailed pipeline design deliverables, including alignment sheets, route drawings, isometrics, and construction drawings.</li><li>Develop and update 3D models for pipeline systems using software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or SmartPlant 3D.</li><li>Ensure pipeline routing and layouts are optimized for safety, efficiency, and constructability.</li><li>Incorporate relevant pipeline codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API), and client specifications into designs.</li><li>Assist in conducting pipeline stress analysis, material selection, and wall thickness calculations.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated and clash-free designs.</li><li>Review vendor drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.</li><li>Provide technical support during project phases, including procurement, fabrication, and construction.</li><li>Maintain and organize design documentation for traceability and project audits.</li></ul>
<p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.</li><li>5-10 years of experience as a Pipeline Designer for large-scale onshore oil and gas projects.</li><li>Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, SmartPlant 3D, or equivalent.</li><li>Strong knowledge of pipeline design standards (e.g., ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API 1104).</li><li>Familiarity with pipeline routing, alignment sheets, and topographical integration.</li><li>Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on complex engineering projects.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.</li></ul>
