Role overview:

Focuses on ensuring adherence to governance mechanisms and coordinating cross-stakeholder governance efforts

Key objectives:

• Enhancing transparency and ensuring accountability and effective decision-making execution
• Facilitating structured coordination between government entities, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders
• Overseeing compliance with governance policies, regulatory requirements, and strategic mandates

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to governance structures and mechanisms, supporting optimal decision-making processes for execution
• Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and streamlining governance processes
• Standardize governance frameworks and document best practices, ensuring clarity and effective communication across all stakeholders
• Oversee overall activity execution by owners, facilitation of working groups, and deployment of the advisory committee on demand
• Coordinate assurance efforts related to the implementation

Hard skills:

• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
• Experience in strategy development and implementation
• Knowledge of national and international cybersecurity governance best practices

Soft skills:

• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Effective communication and policy advocacy skills

Education:

• Degree in Law, Public Policy, Governance, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Experience in cybersecurity governance or government institutions is preferred

Work experience:

• 6 years of experience in cybersecurity governance or regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience in stakeholder coordination, working with government entities, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.
