Document Controller with experience in the Pre-Contract phase, particularly during the Design stage of construction projects. The candidate should have experience working with design teams and consultants and have a clear understanding of how documentation flows during early project stages.

Has experience in:

• Handling all project documentation during the Design stage, including:
  • Concept Design
  • Schematic Design
  • Detailed Design
  • Tender Documentation
• Identifying and organize project deliverables across various design phases.
• Ensuring proper classification, version control, and tracking of documents.
• Coordinating with consultants and engineers to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
• Supporting the preparation and submission of documents for Authority Approvals.
• Maintaining compliance with project-specific document control procedures and standards.
• Technical Expertise:
• Ability to identify and differentiate between various drawing disciplines, including:
  • Architectural
  • Structural
  • Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)
  • ID
• Familiarity with different types of drawings, such as:
  • Authority Approved Drawings
  • Issued for Construction (IFC) Drawings
  • Issued for Tender Drawings

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in document control within the Pre-Contract/Design phase.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority approval processes and documentation standards.
• Must be located in UAE
• Proficiency in document control platforms (e.g., Aconex, Unifier, Procore).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage high volumes of documentation.
