The Senior Project Engineer will support the Project Manager in the delivery of offshore project, with a focus on topsides and jackets structures, ensuring execution is aligned with project objectives in terms of schedule, cost, quality, and HSE. The role involves coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and offshore installation teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Project Manger in overall project coordination and execution of offshore facilities (jackets, topsides)
• Act as focal point between engineering, procurement, construction, and installation teams.
• Monitor and track engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractor and vendors on technical and execution matters.
• Ensure proper interface management between different work packages (Onshore yard, installation, fabrication).
• Follow up on procurement activities, expediting critical equipment and materials.
• Oversee fabrication activities at yard, ensuring alignment with design and quality requirements.
• Support offshore execution and installation when required
• Track project progress and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating where necessary
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures at all stages of the project.
• Participate in technical reviews, HAZID's HAZOPs, constructability reviews.
• Support change management processes and evaluate impact on cost and schedule.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Proven experience in PMC roles on offshore projects.
• Strong experience in Jackets, topsides, and offshore structures.
• Experience in fabrication yards and offshore installation is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of project lifecycle (FEED, EPC, Commissioning)
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces and stakeholders
• Good knowledge of planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Problem solving mindset with proactive approach.
• Strong focus on HSE and Quality compliance.
• Ability to work in Multicultural and fast paced environments
• Previous experience with Aramco projects (Preferred)
• Experience working with major PMC and EPC contractors(Preferred).
